At this week’s Democratic presidential debate from Miami Dade College in Florida held this Wednesday, March 9, 2016, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders clashed heavily over issues raging from immigration, health care reform, and Obama’s opening diplomatic relations with Cuba. One thing that stood out from the debate was Clinton’s assertion about Benghazi, saying that the mother of a Benghazi victim is “absolutely wrong” to claim she lied after the 2012 terror attack.
Clinton was referring to Pat Smith, whose son Sean was among the four Americans killed. Ms. Smith has repeatedly accused the former secretary of state of telling her that the attack stemmed from an anti-Islam video, something Clinton has denied.
Ms. Smith appeared on FOX on “The Intelligence Report” with Trish Regan where she reiterated that Clinton absolutely blamed the Benghazi attack on a video. She continued to call Clinton “a proven liar”. She also stated all she wants Clinto to do is tell the truth, and explain what really happened; “as a mother I deserve to know," Smith said. "All I want to know is why my son is dead."
